Bennington High School had their 2017 National Honor Society induction ceremony on Wednesday, April 19. Mrs. Wiesen and Mrs. Wolf are the advisors and they inducted 5 new members: Jakob Lovendahl, Taygen Watson, Claudia Trout, Devin Feil and Dylan Kaiser.
The ceremony was cut short because of inclement weather, but it was still a very nice ceremony.
National Honor Society is a highly recognized national organization. Being a member of NHS has a lot of benefits for those when applying for college or scholarships. Being able to say you were a member in good standing lets the colleges know that you are a hardworking, well-rounded individual.
Members build confidence, leadership skills and character traits while working in our community and building a relationship with those residents.
